Throughout college, I was an avid fly fisherman and could be found on any of the numerous rivers found in southwest Montana every month of the year. I graduated with a degree in fish and wildlife management from Montana State University in 2019 and began a career in wildland fire. As this is a pretty summer oriented career, the lack of fishing left a void that needed to be filled. After working for several federal agencies and moving around, I finally settled in Buffalo Wyoming where I enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities. In 2022, I picked up my first English Setter Chip and have since become obsessive about pursuing wild birds behind pointing dogs. I have had so many great experiences with so many people all over the United States and have even met a few of our neighbors to the north while field trialing. I started Grouse Mountain Gundogs as a way to share the experience of hunting the uplands with anyone that is willing to lace their boots up and get out there. I hope to provide authentic content that will inspire others to go out and explore. We will also be selling Inukshuk dog food at unbeatable prices in the northern and central parts of Wyoming.
